Welcome to our venue! We're thrilled to have you here and can't wait to share more about how The Rivermill came to life and what we have to offer.
This beautifully transformed historic grain elevator was originally built in the 1900s. Purchased by the Schutte family in 1975, this space has seen a variety of businesses over the years including a general farm store and wood pellet plant. Brent and Denise took over operations in the 2000s, breathing new life into the building. After a decade of dormancy, they envisioned a brighter future and were determined to transform the space into something remarkable. Their passion and ambitions set the stage for exciting developments ahead.
The Rivermill is the stunning realization of Brent and Denise's rustic design dreams. In 2022, they transformed their vision into reality by creating not only a picturesque wedding venue for their daughter, but also their dream home. The unique grain bin house, incorporating two repurposed grain bins, stands proudly alongside the revitalized old grain elevator. The Rivermill has hung onto its charm but is now a beautiful space for unforgettable celebrations.
Since their daughters wedding in 2022; hosting 175 guests in an indoor space. The Schutte family has expanded the venue to host 300 guests in both indoor and outdoor spaces. Experience the charm and warmth of The Rivermill, where every detail tells a story of love and creativity.
